People assume "elevated" travel is a budget line — the lie-flat seat, the suite, the car that meets you. Those are lovely, and I'm not above any of them. But after enough miles I've learned the truth: the feeling of traveling well comes far less from what you spend than from how you do it. The most seasoned travelers I know aren't the richest ones. They're the ones with habits.
Most reference material is boring or bland to look at. Useful, for sure, but the charts and cheat sheets that actually help you run a life tend to look like they were made to be hidden in a drawer (where they are so often forgotten about until after you’re done needing them).
